I guess it depends how long your hair is. Drug testing in hair is a little like looking at the rings in a tree trunk-the older it is the further it gets away from the new growth. So the answer is, if your hair is shorter than 2.5 months worth of growth then you should be ok. Wouldn't really bet your job on it though, so get a really really short hair cut and DON'T DO DRUGS AGAIN IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR JOB!!!! A good friend of mine always wanted to work in forensics's but balls it all up at the last minute taking E at a club and got caught in a random drugs test. Seriously, if you like your job, just don't risk it (all the regular don't do drugs stuff aside).

colouring your hair wont work. you need to shave ALL hair from your body. armpits, crotch, head the works.

You might be just a little paranoid. Very few jobs will go as far as to take hair samples. Most will just take a urine sample.

Drugs stay in your hair. Instead of coloring you hair, just don't use meth.
