How long after you stop using drugs does it take to get out of your hair?

My brother hasn't used weed in 2 months now he has a hair drug test and needs to know how long before it gets out of his hair.

He needs to shave it all off!!

It takes as long as the hair takes to grow. If he hasn't had a hair cut sing he last smoked, there will still be traces.

Hair grows at an average rate of six inches a year, so if he doesn't smoke for a month then shaves his head, there will be no trace in his hair.

It doesn't get out. It has to grow out.

It's the reason why more companies have chosen to pay the higher cost of this drug test, it gives them a drug usage history.

If body hair is used the timeframe represented by the test is approximately one year

Obvious that would depend on several complex variables. Your individual metabolism; the amount of drugs taken: the type of drugs taken; when and how you cut your hair (suggest shaving your head might hasten the removal)

I suggest adopting a new form of recreation. Introducing chemicals into your system WILL bring on unintended consequences beyond obvious legal problems.

I know what you are thinking.....OH BOY.... Not another tired rant about the evils of drug use. Scoff if you wish but I have been a drug counselor. I have seen the damage these drugs do to people. My niece has used marijuana for years. She is 20 years younger than I; Her skin looks 20 years older. (I can explain the scientific reasons for it but I am sure you are not interested) She is also not as mentally acute as she once was. All chemical introduced into your body including the approved demon rum have an impact on our health.

I would like to suggest more natural recreational "drugs". ....hm mm such as adrenaline

get your "rush" from white water rafting.....or hanggliding.....or some other naturally stimulating activity.....you have the added benefit of producing endorphins which improve your immune system and make you healthy
