Cocaine and hair follicle testing?

Hello,

I am planning on becoming a police officer once I finish the schooling. It should take me approximately 2 1/2 years to finish. About 3 months ago, I made a stupid choice and did 2 lines of cocaine at a party. This is the only time I have used and will not use again. My question is, will I be able to pass a hair follicle drug test by the time I am ready to join the work force? I am very concerned about this because being an officer is something I really want to do. Thank you for your help.

yes............but you will still have to pass a polygraph test, among other things...plus a extreme back ground check, (known friends %26amp; associates)...I suggest when you get to that point (3 yrs from now...ADMIT your mistakes up front.

As I understand it, follicle and spinal testing give longterm use results.

If you were trying to be a chemist, your chances would have ended. But the police force usually realizes that some people were young and stupid. So I'm sure you'll get in if you do everything appropriate from now it, it just might take two tries.

You're drug test will, in fact, test positive. I'd say get yourself a buzz cut now.....and don't do coke anymore!!
